Place at 1.5m max intervals along gutter / flange
We recommend that each end of the post & wire system is counter-tensioned using beam clampsy (NF160) to prevent the system leaning inwards under the spring tension.
Standard springs (PW207) should be used with this system
The pigeon wire should stop and start at each post with a crimp and spring and should NOT be threaded through the post eye continuously.
The single headed gutter post (PW216) is ideal for clamping bird wire onto vertical flanges and gutters to cure light pressure pigeon infestations.
The double headed gutter post (PW217) is ideal for use on gutter lines to cure medium pressure infestations
Prior to installation of a post and wire system the affected area should be cleared of any nest debris and dropping to reduce homing instincts and ensure best results
